Use of hallucinogens by Mormon Church funder

A friend sent me these links to early LDS Church (Mormonism) use of hallucinogenic substances by the church's founder, Joseph Smith. The findings were presentated at the latest Sunstone Symposium (2007), a gathering of individuals with alternative LDS doctrinal beliefs.
